Vermont

The Green Mountains of Vermont are a popular destination for skiers in the winter months. You can see the ski runs cutting through the trees and winding down the mountainsides as you ride from the Icelandic Horse farm, and you learn more about what locals do year round. The riding trails in the forests serve as paths for snowmobiles in the winter and take you past maple syrup tapping collection. This area of New England often experiences a stunning fall foliage season, when the mountains are ablaze with an array of colors.
